Movie review (horror/suspense) “The Alphabet Killer” (2008)

December 11, 2010 at 10:15 pm (crime, horror, movies, suspense)

This is an interesting movie, and not what I expected. A talented cop (The awesome Eliza Dushku) loses her mind under the pressure of a horrible murder investigation. Is she really schizophrenic, or is she really seeing ghosts…or both?

Wi…th a better script, this could have been a terrific movie. Unfortunately, the dialog is clunky in places, and the plot has more holes than my pit bull’s chew toys.

Watch if you’re an Eliza fan, she’s terrific in this flick. And the killer isn’t who you think it is.

-Rated R
-3 out of 5 stars
-Possibly OK for older teens, but has some pretty gnarly subject material.
