Movie review: (horror) “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” (1919)

December 11, 2010 at 9:11 pm (horror, movies)

One of the Coolest. Movies. Ever. This movie was meant by the directors to be a strong anti-war message. Cesare the Somnambulist represented the mindlessness of a population convinced that war is necessary. Most of that symbolism will be lost on modern viewers, but it’s still an incredible flick.
